Inputting a spinning logo in my project

Post by Banji Abereoje »

Hi,

In a follow up to my previous question, using MSP8, how do I import object (esp. logo) to project, adjust the size, place it on the edge of the screen and get it spinning thru’out the duration of the project?

Or what package(s) do I need to achieve this?

Thx in advance.

You are now stepping off into the needs of other software. Of course, I use what Ulead has, and as an example, follow this link... You can scroll through the available vids there, that I posted, one is a demo of using Cool Production Studio, which is used to create my company logo segue, and a few other programs to do some very minimal effects. ( the first vid is NOT the demo I am speaking of.. you can scroll through the vid list)

Follow MrAmigo2121. It's quite straightforward to do in Cool Production Studio. Import it into MSP. Be aware MSP, can be a bit slow at rendering and creating files when dealing with complicated 3d effects. I've just spent hours creating a spinning disapearing object into a title.

If you can get a single spin working using a moving path on your logo image, then it's a trivial matter to copy/paste it as often as needed. If the cycle takes a second, then you can fill two hours with 13 copy/paste operations (you'll have to delete a few extra copies of the clip)

There are several ways of doing it, starting with an animated GIF. However, animated logos are horribly distracting and lowers the viewing value of your project.

I remember that, for a couple of weeks, a TV station changed the colour of their logo about every 30 seconds. If you were watching a film, your eye was taken away at each change. The station quickly dropped it after numerous complaints from viewers. Another one moved their logo around the four corners with a similar response. I would therefore be very, very careful that the viewers will be watching the video content and not the logo. IMHO, logos should be as discreet as possible.
