video studio editing question

Post by gomer2 »

I am looking to purchase video editing software to do sports videos. Is there a function available with video studio to either highlight /shadow or put an arrow in place to identify the athlete at the beginning of the clip so you know where the individual is and you can watch them during the play? If not available is there some type of add on software capable of doing this?

Thanks

Yes, you can easily insert an arrow or some other object, or highlight the player using the Lighting Video Filter.

However, if you want the arrow to follow the player VS cannot easily do that.

You could do this using Corel Ulead VideoGraphics Lab:

Can that be used with VS, or just MSP?

Corel (Ulead) VideoGraphics Lab has the ability to export graphics in formats acceptable to virtually any video editor.

But it's also true that the native CG INFINITY and VIDEOPAINT files can only be inserted -- natively -- into the MediaStudio Pro timeline.

Another program that is virtually ignored for video work is Corel's (Ulead's) GIF Animator, which offers an amazing number of effects for video... not just the Web.
