There are a number of ways to do this but the easiest is:
Goto Windows Explorer.
Find a file that you would wish to use with Photo Explorer - perhaps a BMP or GIF or JPG.
Right click and select "Open With"
Do NOT use one of the programs offered (even though Photo Explorer might be one of them) - instead use the browse option.
Finally make sure that you tick the box "Always use this program for this file type"

You will have to repeat this for the other file types.

Hello...Thank you for your help and your reply...I will try your suggestion...although I am not sure this is what I am actually looking for. I buy and sell a lot on the internet and also make sale bills for my husband and with my camedia master program all I had to do was click on add picture and it would bring up the camedia master folder and then I could upload the picture or pictures...would what you suggested work for this...Thanks again...Elizabeth

I am not familiar with the Camedia Program but there should be a setting somewhere within Camedia to do that. In most prorams settings of this nature are normally found under
File | Options
or
File | Preferences
