No Audio With CHapters
I created my menu with chapters. I go into the player and play it and click on each chapter and audio plays, when I burn it and play it in the player there is no audio with chapters. There is audio on the first part of the chapter one.
I have checked foroum for a thread about this but have not found any.

I suspect you have a (slightly) corrupt MPEG file. You are feeding Workshop an MPEG file, right? A corrupt MPEG file will often play OK, but cause trouble when you try to edit it, convert it, or make a DVD from it.
I also suspect that this has nothing to do with adding chapter-points, although a corrupt MPEG might cause more trouble when you "skip-ahead" rather than playing it in sequence frame-by-frame.
Both VideoReDo and Womble include repair tools that can fix some MPEG problems. And, both offer free trials.
You also could try splitting-out the audio to a WAV file (with Video Studio, Media Studio, etc.) and then use that WAV file for the audio track on your DVD. But, that may not help if the problem is not specific to the audio stream in the A/V file.

FYI - You should be able to experiment without actually burning a DVD. On the burn screen, there is an option to Create DVD Folders. That will create the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders on your hard drive. (You can un-check the Burn Disc box.) You can play that "DVD image" with your DVD-player software.I'm burning now.
If you get that working, you can burn those folders to an actual DVD without re-rendering.

2) does each separate video have audio, or are you trying to use one long audio track for all your separate video clips?
3) Pleas rt-click all the clips, and post their attributes here.
4) also let us know if under the VIDEO and AUDIO tabs, does the "Convert to disc template" stay ghosted (meaning they will be converted to project settings)
Regards,
George

The folders are there and the video and part audio is there. It's just like the burned DVD.DVDDoug wrote:FYI - You should be able to experiment without actually burning a DVD. Hi George,
I think I got it. What I was doing was using the template from a old project and just droping my video in and using that old menu.
I got to thinking that this might be corrupt somehow, so I went ahead and created a new menu with titles and it burned with audio.
I'am using one long segment of audio with one long segment of video setting the I Frames in ULead.
Anyway seems to be working. Thanks for your help. If it acts up I'll let ya' know.
