Transferring Itunes music to .wav files

I have all my music downloads in my itunes file, when I go to add a song to a new project it tells me the format is not the same. How do I make the songs compatible (to a .wav file) so I can use my itunes song on my photo slideshow.

I downloaded a trial version of Blaze Media Pro (http://www.blazemp.com/music_software.htm) and converted all the itunes I wanted to use on my DVD.

The trial download is good for 10 or 15 days -- you may even like it enough to buy !

I found it simple to use for coverting, and even did some editing of tunes.
