Application error during Instant Playback

Mmm. I'm getting ap failure in MSP8 again during Instant Playback- and I'm baffled as this was not happening before. No service or software is running while I'm edting. I've tried clean install etc and still...Thought I'd throw it out there. I can edit but if I don't save every 5 seconds I fear I'll lose my work.

I had the same problem, it was my Video card drivers. I have an ATI 16XPCI card. I had to use a older driver for my card. The newest one kept causing crashes during instant playback. Try either installing the latest drivers from Nvidia or an older driver set.

I've also had a similar problem. It stopped after I removed a stick of ram. Turns out it was faulty. I still save every time before I click the play button though.

Tried all that- still happens. Funny I never had this issue before....oh well, if anyone else has anything to add let me know. For now, save save save every 3 seconds. Thanks all
