Please support unicode file names.

Post by Stas »

Hi,

Can you please fix DVD MovieFactory and related programs (like Burn. Now) so that they properly deal with unicode file names. You do not support legacy OSes like Windows 98 and the like anyway, so there is no excuse for not using unicode API functions when dealing with strings.

Programs not supporting unicode file names look and feel archaic. I even wonder how such programs could pass Microsoft certifications for "Works with Vista" and similar logos.

Cheers.

Not supporting unicode file names under XP/Vista is a bug.

So it's not a feature request.

It's a request to fix a bug.
