Though it hard to decide what to get.

What I do know is...

I want:

MiniDV
Entry Level Camcorder/HandyCam
Min 10x Optical Zoom
Nice clear image with good colour balance
More than 1 CCD (but will settle for one depending on feedback)

Compatibile with Ulead v11+

I would like to hear about your experiences in using DVR's and any recommendations you can give me.

At the moment I'm looking at some of the Sony range of Handycams that come with the docking station.

I'm looking to spend upto AUD$1000 (US$830)

Looking forward to hear your recommendations

Thanks

I ended up settling for the:

Panasonic NV-GS180.

It was going at a really good price. AU#645
