No SOUND with MP3s

Post by San_kev »

:D :x

Hello... again...

- I'm still having problems with playing MP3, they just scroll but no sound or sometimes is just a quick scroll and no sound. I'm using VideoStudio 8, I don't like the idea of converting them to WMA, or worst to WAV (size too big) even though is the only way I can add audio/music to my videos.

Please, I need your help...

What are the properties of the mp3 files you are having problems with?

I don't really know;.. what difference that make? because all my mp3 play in any mp3 player without any property change; also I've used differents Video editing programs and they play OK; they are 128kpbs, 44mhz, stereo...
Is something different that I should do?

Thank you for your reply.... :D

I asked because I wasn't sure if VS was expecting mp3's to be of a particular sample rate and mp3's can come in all sorts of flavors.

But yours should work just fine. I just tried a few with the same sample rate and they seem to work here. Maybe someone else will jump in and offer a solution.

Hi,

The best performance of your computer will be with the larger wav files.

I highly recommend that you convert them to wav.
