Adding a personal folder in VS10

Post by David Badger »

I burn lecture videos onto DVDs and choose to add a Personal folder containing pdf files of notes etc.

In VS 6 if I selected a folder called 'notes' to add to the DVD, then this folder appeared at the root of the DVD along with VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS. That made it easy to find.

Now that I use VS 10, when I add a folder called 'notes' it is buried four levels deep on the DVD:
ULEADDMF > ULEAD_ARCHIVE > PERSONAL > NOTES

This makes it much harder for the users of the DVD to find the notes. Is there any good reason for hiding it so deep, and is there any way to avoid it?

Thanks
David

You can burn dvd folders to your harddisk instead of burning directly to a dvd.
Then add your content to the dvd structure on your harddisk.
Then use Nero to burn a DVD-Video Disk, just add the new folders in Nero.
