Missing Help?

Post by Shift_E »

Hello All,

I¡¦ve been using VideoStudio 10 for a while and have just upgraded to VideoStudio 11. I purchased the download upgrade from VideoStudio 10 to VideoStudio 11 yesterday. The install went without any problems and I have a quick question, I hope.

While in VideoStudio, whenever I press ¡§F1¡¨ or access help from the menu I get ¡¥Cannot find the help file¡¦ message box. I didn¡¦t find an answer searching this forum, nor within the readme files. I do have the pdf user guide I downloaded from the Ulead web site.

How can I get the help to work within VideoStudio? Did I miss something?

Thanks for any help,
Ron

Did you install all the files? I believe there are 3 when you download: the program itself and 2 for extra content.

I double checked the file I downloaded and it was just the install file UVS11Plus_E.exe. The purchase confirmation email only referenced this one file, then I searched the Ulead web site and only found the pdf user guide.

Maybe the help file is not available?

Thank you for your response,
Ron

No Help, no WinDVD, no media, no AVCHD, no nothing

You're right Sift_E - there is no help file. In fact, we have been sold VS11+ under false pretences. I ordered, paid for and downloaded the upgrade to find that's all it is - a simple upgrade to VS9 (my previous version). I was hoping for AVCHD support as I have a new Sony HDR-SR7E, I was hoping for the latest version of WinDVD, I was hoping for more than 140MB of program - previous versions have had a lot of media samples.

What i bought bears no resemblance to the advert. It's disgraceful, and I will be on to Corel tomorrow for a refund but I doubt it'll happen. The discussions on this forum are depressing to say the least. How they can get away with such deceptive, lie-ridden adverts is a mystery to me. I shall leave Corel and Ulead products behind me now - I've just been comprehensively ripped off.
