Scrolling Credits?

Post by WaxonWaxov »

It seems so simple, but Digital Movie Factory doesn't do it.

Every movie going back forty years has had scrolling credits.

Does Video Studio make scrolling credits?

YES.

Type your credits as a title

Click to tick 'Animation'

Choose 'FLY'

Choose the first preset.

Done.

That is a function of *time* on the timeline. Pull the clip out a bit for longer scrolls, shorten for faster scrolls.

Yes. From the Effect options, you can choose a "no pause, short, intermediate or long" duration. You can also extend directly from the timeline too. Usually I apply my scrolling credits to a solid color or .jpeg picture. I add the background (color or pic) on the timeline according to the length of the total display of credits, taking into account of how long I want the credit to pause. Then I apply the title effects accordingly. My post today about the "Wave" effect I encountered is happening exactly to scrolling credits.

Yes - don't know what the max number of lines is per title - but it is quite a lot - you could of course make as many titles as you wish in sequence if your talking hundreds - wouldn't take you many minutes to try for yourself and see how many lines you can use.
