I use a Panasonic FX-9 digicam with excellent video. I've always used the VGA 30 fps setting without actually thinking. But when I view a film made at 10 fps I can actually see no difference, at least at first glance.
I process my films with Ulead VideoStudio 11. Does anyone have any experience with using 10f ps, and possibly with processing the films with VS11? I'm off for a two-week vacation and my memory cards for the camera are limited, so having only one-third as much consumption would be welcome, but I don't want to come home and find myself faced with some unsurmountable problem resulting from using 10 fps.
I'd appreciate a tip or two if anyone out there has a bit of experience in this area.
All the best,
Ralph
Is 30fps necessary?
