Post by Arekwp »

1. Create New Project (PAL)
2. Add New Time Line
3. Select TimeLine1
4. Add Color Clip (1 sec = 25 frames) BLUE
5. Select MainTimeLine
6. Insert from TimeLine -> TimeLine1
7. Preview window
Select TimeLine1
END - 0:00:01:00 - frame is black - OK
Left Arrow - 0:00:00:24 - frame is BLUE - OK

Select MainTimeLine
END - 0:00:01:00 - frame is black - OK
Left Arrow - 0:00:00:24 - frame is BLACK !!!!! This is ERROR.

I agree that this happens, but it is of no importance because, as soon as you add anything to its end, frame 24 will appear normally! I cannot think of any situation where you would have a sub-timeline of just a colour clip with nothing added when transposed to the main timeline.

If, for any reason, this does bother you, the workaround is simple: make your colour clip 1:01 seconds long and, after transposing it to the main timeline, drag the trailing edge back one frame.

This silly reflection.
I have served as example color
I work on several TimeLine. I can not shorten each clip from TimeLine (i'm use 3-20 TIMELINE).
make your colour clip 1:01 seconds long and
from color - OK
from video CLIP ????? (clip is 20:00 sec - please create new clip 20:01 and 100% video speed).

This is BUG

Sorry, I've never noticed this before. Probably because I use sub-t/ls for complex sequences which are transitioned into the main t/l, so would never be seen. The only thing I can suggest off the cuff is to shorten the transposed clip by one frame: this does work. Maybe someone else has a better answer.

Note: I did not test this on my video computer. I used a second one with all sorts of rubbish installed, using the sample mpg clips. If I find time, I'll try it with my video one which I know is clean.

;)
I'm testing this on 3 computers - result is this same.

Problem does not take a stand if render clip from sub-T/LS!
