Getting Rid of Date and Time

Post by Alan Davies »

How can I get rid of the date and time?
I am using a Sony Handycam and seem to have the date and time on all my shots. Is it possible to remove this feature in Video Studio 11 plus?

Can't find anything useful in the Sony manual.

It seems this is a Sony issue, not VS. The following was taken from this thread:

I was visiting another forum and found a thread about this same problem. A solution they found was this:
Quote:
When importing from DVD select chapters go to the right tab with subtitle and unckeck the option.
So you could even import chapters from the same dvd with or without time stamp.

Hope this helps.

To display/hide the Date/Time from my Sony Handycam you do the following.

1. slide the Power switch to the Play/Edit mode
2. Press Menu during playback or pause
3. Turn the Sel/Push Exec dial to Others then press the dial
4. Turn the Sel/Push Exec dial to select [DATA CODE] and then push the dial
5. Select OFF or ON as required.

Many Thanks.

Problem Solved. On the 109e ther is a S.Title option as you say, and with this set to off - no date or time. Hooray.
