Trial version

When I downloaded the trial version of Media Studio Pro 7, I automatically got a trial version of Movie Factory 2 as well. Is this product included if I were to buy the editor? The website says you can do dvd authoring but it speaks of an integrated module as opposed to saying that you get Movie Factory 2.

The reason I ask, is that I first downloaded a trial version of Studio 8. I was able to create a dvd compatable mpeg file, but then when I used the integrated dvd authoring module to burn the disk from the mpeg, the resulting dvd had a slight a/v sync problem. However, when I used the stand alone Movie Factory app, this problem did not occur, not to mention it burned much much faster.

If there is a way to burn directly from the Pro editor (which the website seems to suggest) I'd be happy to test that to see if the sync problem occurs, however, I can't see where to do that and there would be no point to it if Movie Factory 2 comes with the eidtor when you buy it. I'm not sure why else they would automatically download it if it were not included. I guess another question is why the trial version that got installed is MF 2, when the web site is advertising MF 4?

If anyone can answer any of these questions I would appreciate it.

MSP7 does include a cut-down version of MF2, with the addition that it handles AC-3 2/0 sound, as well. Installing the full version of MF2 over it will disable the AC-3 audio.

There is no intention of including MF3 or MF4 with it, as the MF2 is a bundle. However, you can use the upgrade path to MF4, if you wish, at very low cost.
