Videostudio 11 problems

Post by Micetro »

Hello folks,

I've just bought VS 11 with a view to finally editing all the camcorder footage I've taken over the past few years.

My biggest problem is that the program is cutting out the middle of all the files so all you can see/edit in the program is the beginning and end but when you play the file on WMP 10/VLC etc it is all there, for instance:

Video in VS 11 - length: 1min 36 sec

Same Video in VLC - length: 15 mins

Any ideas? I was wondering if it was hard disk cache size as this is only a 40GB HD.

Hello sjj1805

I've updated my system specs and will also try capturing straight from my panasonic vdr-m70 into Intervideo to see what happens. Cheers.
