Hi Folks,
I'm stumbling through my first project...Help!
I am able to edit a clip and get the video that I want, however, I noticed that when I drag & drop my video into the Video area, there is a Mute Button on the lower left hand side of the frame that is displayed. How in the world can I get audio with the video? The video that I have is from a TV studio of a show that my wife and I were on. Thanks in advance!

There is certainly a loudspeaker icon down in the bottom left corner of the clip in the timeline - but that does not mean that the sound is muted unless the loudspeaker is covered by a cross. IF it is muted then towards the top of the pane to the left of the preview screen you will see a 'Mute' icon - if your sound is indeed muted then clicking on it will restore your sound.
BUT I suspect that is not your problem - you do not mention the source of your video - what are the properties of the sound track - is it AC-3 Dolby Digital, if yes then you need the Dolby Digital plug-in which you can obtain from here :-
