Missing video Filters

Post by middlebury madness »

Some how my Video Filters have disappeared from my options panel. Last time I lost them I simply re installed the program but it wiped out all my saved clips, titles etc. Is there a way for me to save these as I am in the middle of several projects and find it handy to have things to use as templates. Or is there another way to get back my filters? :?

The video filters should be stored in

C:\Documents and Settings\'your username'\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio\10.0 <- this is the version number of Videostudio

According to what I was once told all your LIBRARY data (video and audio clips) are also stored in this folder so if you have to re-install then backup this folder and then restore it after re-installation and your libraries should be back.
The library data files are named

VS_Video.dat--VS_Image.dat-- VS_Title.dat etc

Have a look at this. http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic.php?t=17854

I had the same problem with VS10+ and VS11+ and the fix suggested by JustOneOfMany worked for me.

Thank you Thank You Thank you.... It is back and working without a reinstall. The setting up of the new user in XP worked like a charm.
