Can VS11+ create SWF files (Flash)?

Post by Chris Breet »

Hi Guys,

I am probably asking a question asked before or not posting this in the correct section, but at the risk of being flamed, I'm gonna ask anyway.
(I've searched this forum with some appropriate keywords, and get in excess of 50 pages of hits (time and again) greatly deminishing my willingness to sif through them in an attempt to find the answers) :(

1) Can VS11+ be used to create a SWF flash animation? It would appear not (I cannot find anything in the help file or in die Share output options - so, the followup question is:)

2) What can be used to create SWF files of a small project you made in VS? (I'm not talking about a 5 minute clip, but a few seconds worth of video, effects and titles. I know Cool3D can make SWF files, but is this not limited to 3D objects created in Cool3D?)

Thanks in advance.

Cheers
Chris

Chris,
Creation of Flash files requires a third party program. I haven't found any free ones but have included a link in our thread
ThirdParty Commercial Software for Intervideo-Ulead products
