Can't uninstall MF4???

I have v3.5, and wanted to upgrade to 4. I assumed it would install over, but did not. So I uninstalled 3.5 successfully, but when I try to uninstall 4.0, I cannot.

I am going into the control panel, and when I click change/remove the install wizard comes up and says there is a current version on your computer, please uninstall first. Same message if I use the setup CD.

Well, I want to uninstall, but it won't let me!!!

Any solution??

Try re-installing 3.5 again. Then 4.0 over that again

No luck. I don't think the installation of MF4 was 100% successful. Perhaps that is the problem.

3.5 installs fine, and can be uninstalled also. But 4 is still stuck there

Try the followings to see if it fixes:

Open Windows Explorer and select System Drive:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information.

Open the setup.ini file in each subfolder to find the version of DVD MovieFactory.

When you find the version, delete the subfolder, then try to reinstall the version and uninstall it.
