Sony HDRHC5 Capture Problem

I am using Windows Vista Home Premium and VS11 and I can't seem to get the program to capture in HDV mode. When the camera is connected to the computer it shows HDV Out with iLink when connected with firewire. Actually, a Roxio capture program can see and capture the camera with no problem.

VS first tells me that there is an error with capturing the video and I should reinstall the drivers.

Can anyone help??
