Post by mstr_commander »

I hava a srt file which i converted to txt using subtitle workshop. I than checked the file and times were ok.

Than i inserted them in Ulead andat first the time were corrected but when i press ok the program automaticly changes al the times. And not like all subtitles + 15 seconds but each subtitles differently.

How can i prefend this?

It sounds like you might be using an NTSC file in a PAL project or vice versa. The times are not actually used in WS2; they are converted to the number of frames, so, if your framerate is wrong, so will the s/t synching.

I can't remember the actual symbol in the s/t file header, but it will be followed normally by either 25 or 29.97 or 30, depending on your settings. If mu hypothesis is correct, you can change it and everything will fall into place.
