I'm not 100% certain, but I think installing UVS v10 also installs Apple's QuickTime, or some files that relate to the program. So I'm wondering if I need the two sound files in the library (path: is C:\SmartSound Software\Quicktracks).
I understand that files with .sds extensions are for the Raw Midi Sample Dump Standard, which actually do not contain audio data and are used by Apple's QuickTime. If these two files--Hot and Spicy 22k.sds (13.6 MB) and Island Party 22k.sds (11.3 MB)--are just samples, is it safe to delete them without upsetting the apple cart?
Is it safe to delete C:\Smartsound?
