VS10+ Rendering every change in the timeline
In the past when using VS6, 7, 8, 9 and 10+ I was able to complete a project on the timeline and no rendering was done until the project was output in 'Share'. Having recently updated to a dual-core processor I find that every slight change I make in the timeline is laboriously rendered which takes about ten times longer than previously. Can anyone help me please, Delcole.

Sounds like you have your playback preferences set to High Quality, which renders your project to a temp file. Go to File > Preferences and set your Playback Method to Instant Playback.
