Problem importing DVD w/ MSP8

Post by kamnet »

The discussion over the last couple of days about importing DVDs came right in time, as I've been using the method of copying over the VOB file and renaming it as an MPG file. So with MSP8, I fired up video capture, changed my capture type to the "Import from DVD", I hit the record button, it asks me for the appropriate folder, I pick it, and then it just sits there with a blank progress bar. After a minute or so my CPU usage shoots to 100%, and then the application stops responding. I tried letting my PC sit idle for awhile just in case maybe it was doing something, but even after six hours, nothing. What could I be doing wrong here?

It is possible that you may be a victim of a dll file that has affected some users. Please view Fix: Import DVD (VOB) Files DMF/VS/MSP
