What is DDP ( Disc Description Protocol ) ?
What is DDP ( Disc Description Protocol ) ? Is it also recorded in the "lead-in" area of a disc? If so, why The PIONEER DVR-S201 can write it, and can't write any protection, like the RCE(Regional Code Enchanced(Enchancement))?
Re: What is DDP ( Disc Description Protocol ) ?
DDP (and CMF) is a delivery layout for your CD/DVD Projects. It contains the information for the replication house to generate your Disc. It is not something you put in your DVD Player and play directly from disc. It does contain all the information needed by the replication house to construct the final disc, but it is NON-PLAYABLE in its original form.jjulio1111 wrote:What is DDP ( Disc Description Protocol ) ? Macrovision
Do you know if the Macrovision are written at the same place of the CSS encryptions? Are they written at the same 6 reserved bytes of the header?
If so, I don't understand. Look, if the PIONEER DVR-S201 Can write Macrovision bits, why it Can NOT write CSS Encryption Keys ? http://www.arsenproductions.de/knowledg ... er_dvd.htm

Re: Macrovision
You are constantly missing one vital bit. This is a InterVideo/Ulead forum, not Macrovision and certainly not Pioneer either.jjulio1111 wrote:Do you know if the Macrovision are written at the same place of the CSS encryptions? Are they written at the same 6 reserved bytes of the header?

It must be quite obvious, even to you, that there is nobody around on this board who ever needed or wanted the features you are after.
What are you trying to achieve? In one of your previous posts you stated that you want to put some encryption on your disks, cheaply, in order to sell these. That can't be done. Film studios have been trying in vain, throwing millions of dollars at it and you think you can do it cheaply? grow up.
