Transition Issue

Post by apavloff »

I am having trouble with Ulead properly recognizing my transition selections. When I choose the A4 mask transition it properly displays in the timeline but after I save and re-open the project it the transition assignment is changed to an A-mask. Displaying the results showed an a-mask that I never chose.

Also, I changed all of the transitions (60 of them) to an adorage effect for fade and it looks good but after burning the results to a dvd 3 of the pics have the previously saved a-mask for the transition. I checked the file and every transition is correct. Any suggestions for fixing this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That sounds to me as though you went straight from editing to burning, without the intermediate step of first going to Share > Create Video File > DVD. This should ensure that all you editing is properly incorporated, and of course it also gives you the opportunity to check the file before you commit it to a DVD.

Thanks for the response. I went from editing to Shuare > Create Disc to create the CD to see how the results would look. I just went to Project Playback and there are still some transition issues but not the same ones that are on the burned DVD. Any clues for what to do next?

Like Ken said, goto Share -> Create Video.
Create your edited video first and check it before moving onto the
Share -> Create Disc stage.
