Exporting for mobile phone

Post by Zeb »

Is it possible to install plugin to export to 3GP or MP4 format?

I've got some funnies I've downloaded from YouTube and some family clips I'd like to convert.

Have found a topic asking to convert TO mp4 but my mobile can play them already - need to convert to MP4.

Where can I buy the 3GP plugin from if I can't save to MP4?

Just doing a Google Search for 3GGP (3rd Generation Partnership Program), yields several possibilities. Here's one;

http://www.3gp.com/

I have no idea why, but for some reason Ulead has removed the links for the 3GGP/3GGP2 and MP4 plug-ins from their site for VS.

They still sell those plug-ins for MSP... http://www.ulead.com/msp/plugin.htm

I use VS10+ to output to mp4 for my mobile phone. I actually customized the resolution and bitrate for my LGCU500 -- works pretty well.

Does your version of VS10 not have the mp4 output option (I don't recall if it's in the regular version of VS10) :?:

MP4: with "mobile" profile mp4 (SP) directly with VS10+

3GP: converting Avi to 3GP with NokiaPlayer (freeware)
