No Crop feature in UVS v10?

I looked in the index of the manual for "crop" and found nothing. The glossary section however seems to use the term interchangeably, with "trim" (p.177), which I understand to mean cutting a bit off the beginning or end. In photography, to crop a frame is to chop out only the area you desire, which then redefines the four borders--quite a difference. Software this good surely includes such a basic feature as cropping. Maybe Ulead uses another term for cropping, but I don't want to analyze 168 pages to find it. If VS does allow cropping, does anybody know where the control is hidden?

There's a Video Filter called CROPPING
