WinDVD Media Center installation ERROR

WinDVD Media Center. I've downloaded trial version of this product. At the end of installation process i get an error with ikernel.exe and now, i can't uninstall the product from add/remove programs or install it again. It's very annoying... need help, please!

Which is why I couldn't be more specific.
I suspect you have WinDVD - forget the Media Centre bit.
Then you have to work out which version you have - probably the most recent.

Great..... Don't you just love it when they alter their website so that my links are now redundant.

I shall simply archive that thread that took several hours to create.

:evil: I really need help, my system is damaged with WinDVD Media Center virus... this program installs a lot of files, codecs, servers, etc... when the installation program ends, and after selection of default formats and shortcuts, it crashes and i can't UNINSTALL IT!!.... please, tell me how can i uninstall this from my computer, i want to remove all Intervideo codecs, servers, etc... now, every time i start windows it says that Intervideo IMC Server wants to connect to internet... How can i remove all, completely... forever...

My experience with system restore is really bad. All i want is to remove all files and registry entries from WinDVD Media Center.... isn't it possible? why this installation crashes???

I am still not sure which version of WinDVD you have
I see the following listed on their website:

WinDVD
WinDVR
WinDVD Creator

However - trying to press on.
Firstly if you go to this page
Product support you can then select which program you have, then the version number.

This will lead you to a page showing how to do a clean installation - starting off by deleting all the bits and pieces you mention above.

This link is for WinDVD Version 8
