Copying DVD's with MF4?

Post by leprechaun »

I am trying to copy a DVD i just made in MF4. Will MF4's disc to disc copy feature work if I have one DVD burner and one CD RW drive (doesn't read DVDs). I mean, aside from the DVD burner, does my other drive that i put the source to be copied have to be able to read DVDs?

Thanks :)

Hi,

I don't think I understand your question.

DVD's need to be read by DVD players, and DVD copies need to be made by DVD burners.

If you are asking whether you can put your source DVD±R/RW Disc in the CD-RW drive -- that will not work...

The process can be completed with a single DVD burner. You will be prompted when to change disks.

That's correct. I did this a couple of times when I burned directly to disk without creating folders and .ISO. I was able to copy from different disc formats, too: -R to +R, +RW and -RW. I don't like this, though. It's better/faster to create an image, then burn as many copies as you want.
