I don't have a user manual because I dowloaded the free trial. I am trying to figure out if this is the program I've been looking for...
I feel really dense, but how the heck to you access help from within the program?
I'm trying to see if there's a way to select multiple transitions and change their durations. I don't want all transition durations to be the same. The same goes for photo stills. Is there a way to change the duration of some and not others?
Thanks,
Colleen

Transitions - Not covered well in manual or forums
Once a still duration has been changed in the preference section it doesn't convert all of the stills in the project.
It doesn't look like I can choose multiple transitions and make a change to duration. It looks like the only mass change must be done for ALL transitions.
This is one of the things I can't seem to find in any video editing software. Is it possible in VideoStudio?
Thanks,
Colleen

To change the duration of a clip, whether it is video, image, transition, etc., click on the clip while in Timeline view. When you do you will have yellow trim handles on either side of the clip. Click and drag the trim handles.
You can also use this alternative when you need to adjust the duration to be frame specific: When you have a clip selected you will see a timer to the right of the Preview window (called clip duration, image duration, etc., depending upon what you have selected). Increasing/decreasing the values in that box will also adjust the duration of your clip. You can adjust by H:MM:SS.FF (hours, minutes, seconds, frames).

Regarding the Help file in the Trial Version, there probably isn't one.
However it is for all intents and purposes word for word as per the PDF Help file that can be downloaded via the link I provided above.
