WinDVD8 Forgets Audio Settings

WinDVD 6 did this and now 8.. It STILL does not remember when change anything in the Audio Center panel. (the one with EQ and SRS, etc--not the primary Setup/Audio settings)

I have 6 speakers, but every time I close and open the program the Audio Center has reset to 2 Speakers. Every single time! "Setup" remembers but "Audio Center" does not. Can I make settings stick by setting a file to read-only or modifying the registry?
