I created this one using PI XL last year and it required several layers.

The first was the background of the country area in which I live, I added the second layer (my husband and I to which I applied the Multivision filtre) that I'd masked from its initial background and if I recall correctly, I used the Soft Light mode. That was followed by the text layer ( I located the font from a free fonts site) and then Merged the lot.

I added the border following all that.

This is another version of the initial photo where I pasted the masked image to another background utilising the Soft Light mode, as well (IIRC).

I applied a Lightning effect and added a bit of Dodge and Burn here and there and that was the end of it.
