Video Studio 11 Locks up

I have installed Video Studio 11 and have XP as my operating system. I was try to get to know the product and just tried to run the MPEG that was provided. When I try and run the whole MPEG the software locks up and the only way I can get out is to close the software. It basically comes back and says the siftware is not responding. Please help? I checked through the strings in this forum and have already updated Directx to most current version.

How about trying a clean re-installation:

or you can also update your video card's driver.
