Re: Downloading PI 6 User manual

I have just spent over an hour downloading the English version of the Photo Impact 6 User manual from the link in the Ulead PhotoImpact 6 Support PDF File. It's a 29.2MB file. The problem was the file it gave me was the Spanish version and not the English Version.

Here is the FTP Link I used (I wrote it down while it was downloading):-

So I thought OK, maybe they mixed up the links they provided. As there was also Spanish Version listed, I thought maybe the Spanish one was actualy the English one.

So I downloaded another 29.2MB file only to find out when I opened it, that it too was the Spanish Version.

Here is the second FTP Link I used:-

Can someone please help me out here and tell me where I can get the Photo Impact 6 Users Manual in English.

PI-6 is a phased-out version. Here's the link for PI-6...

Thanks Vidoman, that Zip file unpacks to the PDF File that provided me with the links to download the update and the User Manual.

What I am saying is the links in that PDF File are mixed up.

I clicked on the English link to download the User manual (a 29MB file), upon opening that downloaded PDF file, it's in Spanish, Not in English...

There are 3 links for downloading a Users Manual, English 29.2MB, Italian 19.2MB and Spanish 29.2MB.

So far I have wasted my time and my download limits to get 2 copies of the Spanish Users Manual for Photo Impact 6.

Can anyone help out with an English copy of the User Manual.

Just so you know, here are the links contained in that PDF Document to download the PI 6 User manual:-

Spanish:- ftp://ftp.ulead.com/pub/Manual/PhotoImp ... manual.pdf

All these links are Embeded into the HTML code as Plugins, so this means you have no idea what you are getting until you complete the download.

Here's the actual code you can see during the download, to show you what I mean:-

There must be someone out there who can help me out.. I'm a disabled Pensioner and family man, so I can't afford to go out and Buy the latest version...

Yes you are right, I just downloaded the "English Version" and yes - it is in Spanish.

I don't know if Ulead will still have a copy but I will send them an email.

Thanks for your help with this Steve, it's appreciated..

I did notice that the new download is only 6.3MB and the older download was 29.2MB, that's a huge difference. I wonder what they have left out?

As long as it gives me the basics, I guess as I have these Forums to help me out when I get stuck...
