audio going out of sync with the video

Hi, I have used VS since version 5 and always liked it but a while ago I bought VS10+ and have problems with the audio going out of sync with the video. It seems to be fine when I make a scene, but once I render it, the finished version is out of sync. What do I do?

Right click on a clip and copy the properties here. Also, is it a highly compressed clip such as Xvid, DivX, or MPEG-4? What are your project properties?
