combine ULEAD 11 projects
I have made three different videos with Ulead Video studio 11. I would like to know if I combine the three onto one project and make a DVD out of it. Obviously the sizw will determine if I could get them on one DVD. The other question is how do I make different menu options at the start of the DVD. For instance in a regular Movie on DVD you have choices like Bonus Scenes and scene selections?

You can combine two or more video files by adding each one to the timeline. >Open a video file > Drag it to the Project timeline. (Be careful not to move the video file's location once you've add them to your project because you'll have to re-link it again if you do)
As for the menu, I suggest you use Ulead DVD Movie Factory 6+ (latest version). I don't think that VS supports DVD Menu Creation.

Both programs, VS11+ & MF6+ when producing dvd menu's are almost identical.
Delgaarn, I would read the tutorials posted on this forum's main web page located toward the bottom (along with the users manual for VS11+). There are many tutorials and how-to's & suggested workflow(s).

And to add a further explanation to France's comment, if in fact you meant that you wanted to join three separate videos together into one video, then they have to have the same field order. The only exception is if you include a frame based slideshow with either an Upper or Lower Field First video.

The simplest method is to open one of the projects, and using the "Share -> Create Video File" create a Dvd Compliant Mpeg2 video on your harddisk.
Do this for each project so then there will be 3 separate mpeg2 videos on your harddisk all being dvd compliant ready to burn to a dvd to create a dvd-video disk..
Open up a new project and keep the timeline empty.
Goto Share -> Create Disk.
Insert each of your videos you previously created.
Make chapters, menus & burn a dvd.
There is alot more help in the tutorial sections. In the tutorials you will find step by step procedures and workflows to create dvds..

With each project individually in the timeline, go to Share > Create Video File > DVD to create a DVD-compatible mpeg-2 of each. Set the bitrate at around 6000 kbps if you intend to burn 90 minutes of video to a single layer DVD.
When all the projects are done, clear the timeline of the last project by saving it and then go to File > New Project, which will clear the timeline. Don't worry about giving the new project a name or saving it.
Then choose Share > Create Disk. The burning module will open. Use the Add Media button to add each of your three mpeg-2s. Build your menu, which will have a separate icon for each of your three files. You can further sub-divide these into chapters if you wish.
Make sure 'Do not convert compliant mpeg files' is ticked in the cogwheel Project Settings icon in the bottom left of screen.
Then Burn.
Some people, as an alternative would simply go to Share > Create Disk, and then add the three separate project files into the burning timeline. This will mean that the projects will have to each be converted to mpeg-2 during the burning process, which is already a complicated enough task without this extra burden. It might work, but quite a few people have found that it does not always work. That is why we suggest the workflow I outline above.
