It crashed and now it wont even load

Post by Joeykins »

Hi!

I recently downloaded the trial version of Mediastudio Pro 8.0, i've actually been using it since 10pm (its now 8am the next day ) I love playing around with it and making little movies using different videos on my computer. :D

Anyway! Just now it crashed, and my computer completely froze so I restarted it. And now when I click the icon, nothing happens. My computer doesn't even start to load anything up, it just doesn't do anything. :?

I reinstalled Media Studio, thinking that would fix it - and still, nothing. :(

I am not the best with computers, I know a little but probably not as much as the people here - so please be gentle. :P

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Thankyou!!

Try uninstalling it and re-installing it. If that does not work, I think Steve has put a more complex uninstall/reinstall procedure in the FAQs.

Look for a folder named "8.0" in the following path:

C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead MediaStudio Pro/

Rename that folder (for a backup) before re-installing

I already tried that, and I can't see anything in the FAQs :(
