I am halfway through compiling a wedding video and have placed quite a few clips on the timeline without using the storyboard (Which I am only just beginning to understand!)
It appears that the only time the zoom effect is available is when moving clips to the timeline from the storyboard. Is this true.
If so is there a way to get timeline clips moved to the storyboard?
Can someone help this old codger to sort this out?
Please

The zoom effect should work with video clips when inserted directly into the Timeline. How do you do it? You should simply drag and drop the Pan & Zoom filter from the Production Library into your clip. In the Effects Manager window you can pan/zoom as you desire.
Yes, you can transfer your clips from the Timeline into the Project Tray/Storyboard by, again, drag & drop. Hope it helps.

Rather than use the P&Z filter, some prefer 2D Moving Path. The behaviour is somewhat different, so you have to decide according to what you wish to do. Note you are limited to 14 (I think) intermediate keyframes with MP.
