Hi,
I did a search on this and I don't seem to find an answer. I used touse Premiere and there was an option to create a DVD to view but also to save the project and the source files in a separate directory on the same DVD. That allowed me to move an entire project from my desktop to a laptop and continue editing on the laptop.
Do we have anything similar in VS? Is that what SmartPackage could achieve.
Cheers,
Adrian

Hi
There is no option for VS to automatically select the clips used in a project and save them. (unless VS 11 has this option)
Assuming you have saved all clips used in the project in the same folder, then copying and transferring the files is easy. You have to copy the project file as well (*.VSP)
When opening the project in the new location you will be requested to re-link, but this should be easy, assuming all the files are in the same location.
Sorry but I do not use VS 11 and do not know about Smart Package.
