Lost image rotation when opening VS9 project in MSP8

Post by robwoods369 »

Hi,

I have done some work on a project in VS9 but I now need to continue editing it in MSP8. When I load it up everything works but anytime that I rotated an image in VS9 the image has now reverted to it's original orientation!

Any ideas why or what I can do to correct it?

Thanks

My best advice is, and I do this a lot, is, for images in Video studio, just compile it as a seperate video and use that..

Thanks for the response, could you clarify how to do this if I already have a 1 hour Video Studio project with images and video?

Thanks

I think what Mr. Amigo2121 is suggesting, you render (Share>Create Video File) your VS9 project. Then insert that video into your MSP8 project.

That's what I thought was being suggested too, the problem is that I then lose the ability to easily insert clips between clips in the imported video.

Is there any was to preserve the rotation information when I open the file in MS8?

If not is there an easy way to rotate clips in MS8 (I can do it using motion path but I will have to scale each clip separately as the pan and zoom settings are different for each one)?
