Here Here, I did same Powerdvd ultra and great HD-DVD movies flawless out of the box.
I think Corel sucked all the life out of Intervideo and cost them $196mil to do it?????.

Hi, the only solution from tech support so far was to download an alternative version of WinDVD8, which I did. This version installed with no problems. Unfortunatley it does not support HD-DVD or BD, so is as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike.

Finally sorted!

The answer in the end was to remove WinDVD with add/remove programs, clean out the registry via regedit and then simply install PowerDVD 7.3; worked perfectly first time. HD DVD heaven.

Corel will try to frustrate you out of a refund. ( notice....everything is an auto reply and you can't contact a living being) You're better off contacting your credit card company and disputing the charge. *** up a storm to them about how Corel screwed you and let them chase Corel around !
