PI12 doesn't open PSD fiels with all attributes

Hello:

I am having a recurring issue with openign PSD files with PI12. When I open them inindividual layers, it doesn;t show the drop shadows, text glows and some other of the feeatures. If I open it as a composite I can see them. Is there a way to correct this that anyone knows of?

I have the same problem. My workaround is to always save a UFO file as well as PSD. When I have to re-open later, I open the UFO rather than the PSD. Not pretty, but it works.

What exactly do you mean by that. I don't understand where you see a difference in PSD and UFO. UFO is the native format for PI and should be used to save an image with all the objects (layers) intact. PSD is a foreign format and may be subject to losing features like drop shadow etc. when opened in PI. That's pretty normal if you ask me.
