MF5 + Audio data Error
Using DVDMF 5.0 to create VCD's captured using the Hauppauge PVR150 card. Occasionally the VCD creation ends with a error stating "The audio data in this mpeg is not compatible with this program.", so far as I know I am not doing anything different during the capture process from other VCDs that complete successfully. Any ideas what may be wrong. Thanks for any input.
Did you edit the MPEG? A lot of weird things can happen when you edit MPEGs. (Unfortunately, the Hauppauge cards can only capture to MPEG.) I have a Hauppauge card, and I've never had any trouble with unedited MPEGs.*
It's probably not truly a compatibility problem. It is more-likely corruption of the MPEG audio and/or video stream. A slightly-corrupt file will often play back OK but cause problems when you try to edit it, re-code it, or re-multiplex it.
Did you use the Hauppauge capture software? Did you use a VCD compatible capture setting (if there is one)?
* Your situation may be different from mine (I've never made a VCD), but I ended-up buying a special-purpose MPEG editor from Womble.

I captured it using MF5, didn't make any further changes to it, I used the default MPEG capture format.
