Help! Capture problems with VS11

I have just upgraded my Video studio 10 plus for the 11plus and now it will not capture. My Compaq Presario V6000 reconises the device but VS11 will just come up with an error
"either no capture driver is installed in this system or no device is connected"
VS10 worked fine straight away with my Sony MiniDV.
If anyone has any advice I would love to know!

If you are NOT using Vista, download the latest runtime version patch for DirectX from the Microsoft site -- it was only released a couple of days ago so is labelled June 2007.

It seems to correct a number of ills with VS11 so it might also correct yours.

I had no luck though. Do you think I should maybe do a reinstall?
