DMF4 Disc Creator: On my laptop, I created a data DVD disc and used the [do not close disc] option at the burning stage so I can add files later on. When I inserted the disc on my desktop computers DVD-ROM, the disc is not detected. But when I try it again in my laptop, the files are still there. My desktop ide DVD drive works fine. Why am I having this problem?

Because an non-finalized disc may only be readable in the disc drive where it was burned.

This is normal.
Many burning programs such as Nero actually provide a warning dialog box pointing this out.
