Thank you for your kind reply, the text setting below of what you have indicated is correct, i also tried posting again and it doesn't work.

It's unlikely my service provider has problem, bcos there is no problem when i visit other site or other forums, this only happen to ulead site.

Perhaps you could enlighten me with my problem instead of me trying to keep posting a new post?

I'm currently using Ulead Media Studio Pro 7 and doing some video editing on my wedding. i wanted to fade out the video at the last part of my video and bring out the next scene, i came to know a matter call overlay option, after applying this effect it is what i want to see but the next scene became darken.

Am i using the wrong matter? or it is the correct way but require something eles? please enlighten me.

You should be able to post in the VideoStudio and MediaStudio forums.

Check the bottom right of the page whilst in one of those forums and you will see some text that should read similar to:

You can post new topics in this forum
You can reply to topics in this forum
You can edit your posts in this forum
You cannot delete your posts in this forum
You cannot vote in polls in this forum

Please let me know if you have different settings.
It may also have been a temporary problem either with the Ulead Website or your Internet Service provider. Please try to post another message.

If you wish create one titled Test message for sjj1805 with some simple text like 'as requested' I can delete the post(s) later.

I think that what you are asking is how to fade out one clip and then fade in the next clip.

The simplest way (With MediaStudio 7) is to use a solid black color clip and two cross fade transitions. Place the two clips on VA, place the color clip on VB and then insert two cross fade transitions.

In this screen shot I have exaggerated it somewhat

In practice you wouldn't need the gap between the two clips on VA and it would look like this

I have no idea why you are unable to post or reply to the forum. I have again checked your user account and you are shown as having a fully enabled account.

I am currently on a night shift at my workplace so unable to download and view the link. Unless someone does so overnight I will check it tomorrow evening.

The video you made available for download last about 2 seconds. It looks like a standard cross fade to me. Perhaps you need to provide a longer example?

I have since put my player on auto repeat. It looks like you have 3 clips.

Clip1 -> cut to clip 2 -> cross fade to clip 3.

Thank you for sending me a further example.
They appear to be simple cross fade transitions. using MediaStudio pro 7
you stagger your clips along tracks VA and VB and place a cross fade transition on the effects track.
