Cannot make layers go away after play?

Post by Danbo342 »

Sorry for lack of wording, I am a newbie for sure.

Here is my issue.
I am trying to make a gif. I have a background and a few different pics I made to animate in a sequence.

Problem is, when I run the preview the gif image in sequence 2 - 9 merely overlap one another, they do not play and disappear until called on in the series.

I have looked throughout the settings and know this has to be simple, just hope someone understands what I am trying to type.
Thanks all fro taking the time to read!

Well, it sounds like you have to select each frame, one by one, and then look at the Obect Manager to hide or show the appropriate objects...

Not having your .UGA file to look at, that's my guess.

Try having a read of Ulead GIF Animator 5 Basics - it may help your understanding of GA 5.

If you're still stuck, save the animation in .UGA format and email it to me.

What is there for these settings in Gif animator 4? I do not see any Object Manager.

You did not mention you are using version 4... That's another beast altogether.

Change the frame removal method to "To Background." I haven't used version 4 in years, and don't have it installed on this PC... But if you can find the frame removal settings, change them as noted above and see if that helps.
